Digital media is taking over with the flow of communications which makes the stakeholder’s worldwide to have a perception of grapevine spreading the word out there. According to global statistics use of social networks says approximately 1.870 million people who have been communicating in social networks including the most popular social media platform Facebook click here People trusts social media more than anything.

The power of social media has become a source of information, particularly sharing the content with stakeholder’s. However, the PR profession still takes over in Digital Media landscape.

Social media plays a bigger role on effectiveness of communication. Sustainability made organisations to constantly leave a mark of the work the produce. Hence all registered organisations are given a license to operate. However, "I was involved at UJ 2015 open day to volunteer as a marshal"said Bongiwe. Furthermore, PR is taking over and Public Relations Practitioner's need to adapt to the business environment and familiarise themselves with new PR tools.
